“Conflict Minerals” Compliance
Regal Cutting Tools as a manufacturer is in full compliance with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010. Conflict minerals are mined in conditions of armed conflict and human rights abuse, mostly in the eastern provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The US Conflict Minerals Law applies to materials originating from the DRC as well as Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Congo Republic, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
We do not utilize any conflict minerals that include columbite-tantalite, cassiterite, gold, wolframite, or other derivatives from these countries.
We ensure compliance with these requirements by requesting information from our direct suppliers for the raw materials we use in manufacturing the tools.
