Piloted drills frequently called step drills are two flute construction that eliminate operations. they perform two production operations in one setup. These are to customer specifications and can be HSS, Cobalt or Carbide.

Piloted drills hold accurate dimension between diameters whether use to drill and countersink, drill and counterbore or drill and drill. Double margin piloted drills are also used for sizing holes. They are made to customer specifications from HSS, Cobalt or Carbide.
