NPTF 6-Step Plain Pipe Thread Gages
The purpose of the six step internal or external gage is to measure the pitch diameter size of the part which is essential in Dryseal and Aeronautical parts. It is used in conjunction with the L1 gage.

- Standard Plug and Ring sizes to 1 1/2"
It's necessary to determine the distance from the step of the L1 gage to the part to get an accurate measurement. The Six Step gage insures conformance to Dryseal requirements.
