Triple Crown Carbide End Mills
Regal’s Triple Crown Carbide end mills, made from Micro and Nano grain carbide were developed for high production and extremely difficult to machine applications. Extensive research was instrumental in the design of these high performance end mills. Regal uses closely controlled grades of carbide based on the toughness of the cutting requirements combined with cutting designs validated through years of testing to achieve maximum productivity.
Triple Crown end mills are coated to withstand heat under the toughest conditions. Additionally many styles have a radius blended into the flute to minimize wear. Triple Crown is comprised of 15 different styles of end tooth and helix combinations to provide the optimal tool for difficult materials.
Two flute Triple Crown carbide end mills with AlTiN coating are primarily used to produce square bottom slots. The flutes and cutting edges are designed for a wide variety of materials.
