SuperTuf Material Specific Made in the U.S.A. Taps
The introduction our new Super-Tuf material specific tap series in Winter of 2013 changes the expectations of customer who rely on Regal for rapid service. Super-Tuf includes standard machine screw, fractional and metric sizes of high performance taps for both through and bottom tapping. The fast manufacturing process that Regal Cutting Tools is known for has been incorporated in this exciting new offering.
We can provide our unique Super-Tuf spiral point and spiral flute tools to tap the following materials; medium and high carbon steels, austenitic/martensitic/duplexing and precipitation hardening stainless, nickel/copper nickel and nickel chrome alloys and commercially pure alpha/beta titanium alloys.
Made in America, Roscoe, IL, we have used computer modeling to produce complex flute and point designs to provide excellent shear cutting, while producing strong core sections for strength. Proprietary particle metallurgy, has given us the best combination of substrate and design.
Unique to Regal will be our ability to ship Super-Tuf special taps conforming to standard blank dimensions with coating in the time it takes competitors to process the order.

SuperTuf MF-DA MetFlo taps are made from particle metal and demonstrate extreme toughness and resistance to overheating. Offered in DIN overall length, they are 15-25% longer than standard dimensions and have a reduced neck behind the thread, providing tapping depths longer than the thread length.
